Each year during Art in the Square selected artists receive individual awards.
Local residents vote for the People's Choice Award winner from several artists' work displayed in Southlake Town Hall for several weeks before the festival.
The Award of Distinction recognizes top achievement in excellence by the artist. These artists receive an award banner and a complimentary booth for next year’s festival.
Jurors Awards are presented to artists whose work demonstrates remarkable achievement.

My work consists of acid-free coffee, charcoal, and pastel. Many layers are built up to create depth. I have a special interest in animals and nature and grew up teaching myself how to express my love for God’s creation. My line of work has progressed over the last couple of years from realism to surrealism. I am enjoying being able to rediscover the dreamlike imagination I remember having as a child.
